This 2-hour project enables students to create a simple augmented reality experience that can be used to market a product. The project can be applied to any given consumer product category and included as a platform in a broader creative strategy. Students isolate a product image in Adobe Photoshop, then create an augmented reality experience using Adobe Aero.
Because Adobe Aero enables the creation of simple augmented reality experiences, as well as integration with other apps like Adobe Photoshop, this project empowers students to demonstrate understanding of AR and app integration in a deep and meaningful way.
This project was created by John Delacruz, an Adobe Master Teacher, Adobe Education Leader, and an Associate Professor of Advertising Creative at San Jose State University, and UX Instructor at Miami Ad School SF.
