In this 3- to 4- hour project, students are introduced to civic online reasoning. Students use basic Adobe Photoshop image manipulation and typography skills to create a magazine cover, while learning a skill to apply to determine whether online information is trustworthy. This project can be adapted for use for any content that requires students to capture and synthesize new learning into one cohesive product. This project can be adapted for use with Adobe InDesign.
Adobe Photoshop is a critical tool for designers, web developers, graphic artists, photographers, and creative professionals, and is a powerful tool for any student who wants to express themselves visually.
This project was created by Lisa Gottfried, an Adobe Master Teacher, Adobe Education Leader, and a Digital Design educator and innovator in the K12 PBL space.
