This 3.5-hour strategy helps students encourage action on local sustainability issues with a targeted audience. Using rhetorical principles such as ethos, pathos, logos, and kairo, students identify a specific audience and produce a 60-second Adobe Premiere Rush video. These public service announcement-type videos will offer information and a call to action on a topic related to a sustainability issue affecting their local areas.
Adobe Premiere Rush empowers students to create professional quality video content, allowing students to develop their ethos and connect with their audiences in powerful and persuasive ways.
This strategy was created by Rachel Bryson, an Adobe Master Teacher, PhD Student at Utah State University, and an adjunct instructor of English at Weber State University.
