Video graphic novel

00:50

In this 4- to 5-hour project students create a graphic novel interpretation of a historical event using paper, pencil and Adobe Premiere Rush. This project allows students to analyze and creatively portray their perspective on the event. This project can be adapted for use with other Adobe products, such as Audition.

Adobe Premiere Rush allows students to create videos where their offline graphic novel creations can be imported into the project and are then supplemented with their dialogue. This project allows students to effectively collaborate offline during the graphic novel creation process and to then transform their creation into a shareable, multimedia video experience.

This project was created by Greg Kulowiec, an Adobe Master Teacher, former high school history teacher and educational technology consultant.
