In this 4- to 5-hour project, students use Adobe Photoshop to explore how they and others define their identity. What role does identity play in determining how they are perceived and treated by others? What remains hidden and what is shown publicly? This project can be adapted for use with other Adobe products such as Adobe Spark Post to consider equity, social freedom, etc. or for other content areas. Photoshop empowers students to demonstrate their understanding of identity in a highly personal creative and visual way.
This project was created by Lisa Gottfried, an Adobe Master Teacher, Adobe Education Leader, and a Digital Design educator and innovator in the K12 PBL space.
