This 5-hour project provides students the skills to create an Adobe Premiere Rush video with particular attention given to concepts of time, context and order. The video uses a mash-up aesthetic of appropriated footage to argue a point-of-view on a socio-political issue. This project is best used when preceded with the "Argument Proof" strategy, which supports students in developing their argument and thesis statements, which are the subject of their mash-up films.
Adobe Rush empowers students to create professional videos using intuitive software.
This project was created by Megan Jacobs, an Adobe Master Teacher, Adobe Education Leader, and Associate Professor in the honors college at the University of New Mexico and a practicing artist.
