This 60-minute project is designed for teachers in training and uses the form feature in Adobe Acrobat DC to provide students with a way to electronically interact with a class assignment by adding checkbox and radio buttons, text fields, lists, and pull down menus. The signature field can also be used to verify assignments. This allows teachers to create a document where the formatting is not lost as happens in some online forms.
Instead of printing out quizzes or exams and having students complete them by hand, students will be able to enter their answers electronically. Interactive PDFs created in Acrobat allow teachers to take existing worksheets, quizzes or exam materials and quickly turn them into digital documents that can be shared for distance learning.
This project was created by Dr. Christopher G. Johnson an Adobe Master Teacher who teaches educational technology and instructional design at the University of Arizona, and is a thought leader in the intersection of physical and digital learning environments.
