Poetry starts with words

00:48

This 30- to 60-minute project helps students identify and interpret figurative language and devices in poetry by creating their own poetry in Adobe Acrobat.

Adobe Acrobat offers versatility as a document tool with a variety of markup options. Students are encouraged to move beyond passively reading by engaging with language. This strategy can be adapted for nearly any text or language and is accessible on multiple devices.

This project was created by Teresa Mckinney Davis, an Adobe Master Teacher and Instructional Designer at the University of Arizona who recently taught Adobe for Multimedia Projects courses.
