In this 5+ hour project, students create images that represent the concept of place, time and emotional tone of a scene of a play using Adobe Illustrator. You can use this project for any play, book, or literary piece, as well as for understanding historical events and social issues. It can be adapted for use with Adobe Spark Post or Photoshop.
Because Adobe Illustrator allows students to engage with text creatively and visually and enables technical graphic design skills without the paint and mess of set building.
This project was created by Lisa Gottfried, an Adobe Master Teacher, Adobe Education Leader, and a Digital Design educator and innovator in the K12 PBL space.
