Self mini-documentary: subject, storyline, and video

01:09

In this 5+ hour project, students use Adobe Premiere Pro to tell a compelling story about some aspect of their life through the format of documentary-making.  Students learn to craft a good subject and storyline and the characteristics of good interview and supporting footage. This project can be adapted for use with Adobe Premiere Rush.

Premiere Pro is a robust easy-to-use editing program. Introducing Premiere Pro to students provides a pathway to career building skills, from technical to storytelling/communication and content creation.

This project was created by Lisa Gottfried, an Adobe Master Teacher, Adobe Education Leader, and a Digital Design educator and innovator in the K12 PBL space.
