This 5.5-hour project helps students develop rhetorical awareness of audience by asking them to translate specialist scientific discourse for non-specialist audiences. This project can be completed individually, or multiple students may combine their articles into a class magazine using InDesign. Individual projects may also be completed using Adobe Spark Page, which offers template-based web pages.
Adobe InDesign enables the production of visual content suitable for print and digital distribution. Students can work independently or in groups to communicate new knowledge to a variety of audiences.
