Design an app Interface

01:11

In this 5-hour project, students will design an app interface using Adobe XD. The goal of this project is to create a cohesive and aesthetically uniform look for an app that will serve as the visual identity for your prototype.

Adobe XD allows users to create polished interactive UX/UI experiences that are easy to view and share. Students will build an interactive prototype of an app’s core functionality using elements like component states, repeat grids, overlays and triggered interactions. While this project has a design focus, it is easily adaptable to any class where you would like your students to explore app prototyping in the context of a subject. This project can also be adapted for use with other Adobe products such as Adobe Photoshop.

This project was created by Brian Puente, an Adobe Master Teacher and former freelancer/visual effects artist who is now the Adobe Creative Cloud Support Specialist at the University of Arizona.
