In this 2-hour project, students will read and analyze a course text and then make a video that presents a summary of the reading, synthesizes its key takeaways, and contextually situates those takeaways in relation to the course. Students will create their video using Adobe Premiere Rush.
Because Adobe Premiere Rush is mobile friendly and easy to use, it will help students creatively engage with course ideas and present them in critical, yet colorful and dynamic, ways. This project can be adapted for use with other Adobe products, such as Adobe Premiere Pro.
This project was created by Dr. Justin Hodgson, an Adobe Master Teacher and Associate Professor of Digital Rhetoric at Indiana University, Founding Editor of JUMP+ and Project Lead for Online Composition at IU.
