This 5-hour strategy is designed as part of a two-part session that helps students answer big questions such as who is my audience and what do I want them to feel, utilizing the power of imagery and its use in advertisement. Students will use their own research of how images and colours are used to sell a product. They will use their research to inform their creation of a product advertisement using Adobe Premiere Rush, which they will pitch to a panel once complete. This project can be adapted for use in Adobe Premiere Pro.
Because Adobe Premiere Rush enables creativity through visual media, this strategy empowers students to demonstrate their understanding of the power of images and music in a deep and meaningful way.
This strategy was created by Osi Ejiofor, a former Assistant Head Teacher and an Adobe Education Leader.
